1903 German Levant Izmir to Italy without Surcharge

German Levant: 1903 (31 January). ‘Alexandre Rezowsky / Smyrne’ imprinted registered cover to Italy franked with 1pi Turkish currency surcharged 20pf and two pairs of 10pf German stamps tied by Smyrna German Post office datestamps. Reverse 3 February Budapest, 5 February Udine transit and same day Pasiano arrival cds’s. Usage of German stamps without Turkish currency surcharges are very scarce.
