Iran: 1918 (7 August). Commercial cover to Teheran franked with 6ch Ahmed Mirza portrait issue tied by Ardebil datestamp and straight line Censuré DUNSTERFORCE hand cachet in violet over plain sealing label. Reverse 6 September 1919 arrival cds. This censor almost exclusively used on incoming and outgoing mail from Rasht. Any other place is rare. It was in use until the end of September 1918.
