										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Türkiye</strong><strong>:</strong> 2 November 1918 dated the original photograph of the Ottoman Army Commander Ali Ihsan Pasha<em> (later Sabis)</em>, Sir Alexander Stanhope Cobbe, Brigadier General Robert Cassels, Gerald Leachman<em> (became the political officer in charge of Mosul and killed in the 1920 uprising)</em> and other military personnel, taken in front of the Mosul Military Headquarters following the Armistice of Mudros when Ottomans withdrew from Mosul. All identified by an Ottoman Turkish text on the reverse. Unique historical photo.<em> Ali Ihsan Pasha was arrested when the British raided the Ottoman Parliament and arrived in Malta on 29 March 1919 and escaped by boat to Sicily on 6 September 1921. </em>120 x 90mm.</p>
