Turkey: Commercial four pages entire letter used during British Naval Blockade dated 7 March 1746 from Constantinople to Marseille. Briefly mentions that French ships had arrived safely at Smyrne, there being no English fleet in that part of Mediterranean at that time. The entire bears no postal marking, so most likely it was carried with the consignment of trade goods.
