Folded commercial entire to Trieste struck by CORFU datestamp, RIETTI MORDO & Co / CORFU merchant cachet, “Vapore d’Albania” by manuscript on top and 3 May Triest arrival cds on reverse. According to 1856 Lloyd lines table, the ship for Trieste left Corfu on a Monday 28 April. The first port of call after was Valona in the Ottoman province of Albania.
