Ottoman Empire: 1879 (September – October). Cover to Istanbul franked with 20pa of 1877 Dulos type stamp for twenty paras single weight littoral rate tied by triple box İZMİR 95(vilayet Aydin, A&P type 9, R) handstamp. Reverse Istanbul and Yeni-Djami arrival cds’s. Manuscript on front 15 B(Behiye) suggests that the stamp sold at a discounted price of 15 paras. Scarce and unusual.
