1915 Yemen Saleef Hodeida Quarantine Cover

Ottoman Yemen: 1915 (August/September) Ottoman stampless official sanitary large returned to sender cover from Constantinople to Kamaran Island, Yemen. Arrived Hodeida (A&P type 13) on 08.09 forwarded to Salif (A&P type 1) 17.09, undelivered with diagonal handwriting ‘returned to sender, Camaran Island sea way closed’ (because of the British Occupation at that time) then back to Hodeida (A&P type 14) on 02.10 and finally arrived in Istanbul on 16.10. Reverse Constantinople Sanitary Office cachet. Reduced on top.
