1916 Croatia Austria Turkey Postage Due Military card

Austrian Military Post – Croatia – Ottoman Empire: 1916 (28 December). Feldpost formular card to Istanbul by an Austrian soldier serving on Zagreb, Croatia written in French but without franking taxed on arrival with pair of 20pa of 1914 issue for twenty paras postage and twenty paras tax tied by Galata arrival cds’s. Red Austrian and black rectangular Ottoman censors and blue regiment’s hand cachets. Sender probably thought military mail was post free however this was only for Ottoman soldiers inside the empire but not for other nation’s soldiers.
