Soldier postcard titled ‘Group of Bedouins’ to Istanbul free from franking struck by Sahra Postasi 72 field post office datestamp, also repeated on front, violet personal seal of the sender on top right, violet boxed censor cachet presumably applied on arrival, Istanbul 42 and illegible Istanbul suburb arrival cds’s. FPO 72 used by the 7th Army in the region of Jerusalem at that time in Palestine. Soiled on right and tear on left but still very scarce.
