Czechoslovakia: 1920 (16 February). Stampless postcard titled ‘Freezing of Harbour Urajio’ (Vladivostok) to Czechoslovakia struck by Soud vojenských gosti D.V. ve Vladivostoku hand cachet. In 1920, Vladivostok served as the critical exit point for the Czechoslovak Legion, a force of over 60,000 soldiers and civilians who had fought through the Russian Civil War and were traversing the Trans-Siberian railway to return home to the newly formed Czechoslovakia.
