Türkiye – Syria – India: 1920 (25 April). Cover with its contents from an Ottoman Arab prisoner of war Ahmad Mohammad Al Jamal at Sumerpur Camp to Ras al-Ayn, Syria via Nablus, Palestine (noted by manuscript on top) struck by rectangular Istanbul censor cachet on transit. Letter briefly says that he held up in India over a year, sent many letters but haven’t had any reply. Worrying for their health.
