Cyprus: 1929 (30 August). Airmail cover typed via Constantinople – Wien – Berlin – Stettin – Kalmar – Stockholm to Sweden franked with 1pi KGV and tied by dispatch datestamps, 7 September Stockholm transit and on reverse next day Malmo arrival cds’s. There was no transmission by air mail by the Cyprus post office until 1930, so cover probably travelled by sea to Istanbul then flown on the last flight of the Constantinople – Vienna – Berlin route which had commenced in July 1929.
