Turkey: 1941 (19 February). Airmail cover to Austria franked with two 30k pictorial stamp tied by Gölcük datestamp and very rare T.C. YAVUZ GEMISI KOMUTANLIGI cachet. SMS Goeben, Imperial German Navy battlecruiser joined Ottoman Navy in the beginning of the First Wold War and renamed as Yavuz Sultan Selim later T.C.G. Yavuz. She was the flagship of Turkish Navy, decommissioned in 1950, and scrapped in 1973. She was the last surviving ship built by the Imperial German Navy, and the longest serving dreadnought type battlecruiser in any navy.
